THE Bike Shed Times has been named as one of the world’s best motorcycle websites.
American RSS feed-reader company Feedspot has listed The Bike Shed Times at number 45 in its list of the best bike-related sites from around the world.
The Bike Shed Times editor Peter Terlick said he was delighted at the listing.
“Our website has been visited by more than 120,000 people over the past three years, attracting more than 300,000 hits and collecting more than 14,000 Facebook followers along the way,” Terlick said.
“We are now regularly surpassing 15,000 hits a month from more than 6,000 people.
“Our audience is mostly Australian and that’s where our efforts are concentrated, but it’s great to know the quality of our work has been recognised on a global scale.”
Mr Terlick said the Feedspot achievement was further evidence of The Bike Shed Times‘ growing reputation in the motorcycle industry.
“We launched the website to entertain Australian riders and to give the bike industry a cost-effective way to reach customers. I’d like to thank our readers and our advertisers for their support, and Feedspot for their recognition of our work.”
